Whether you’re hunting a ’85 Haro or offloading a garage full of pre-1990 parts, the flow is the same: real bids, real sellers, real protection. Here’s how a listing goes from page to porch.
Pick your path. Each one takes about a minute to understand.
Browse real old school BMX auctions from collectors, shops, and riders. Bid live, set a max, or hit Buy It Now before the threshold kicks in. When you win, your payment is held until the item ships.
List in minutes. 6% seller fee (3.5% if you’re PRO), no per-listing fees, no final value surprises. Buyers pay processing. You get paid when the auction ends and the buyer confirms.
Three steps. You’re in control the whole way.
Browse by category, era, or maker. Every listing is BMX — no filters needed to dodge generic marketplace clutter. Watch anything that catches your eye; it’ll land in your dashboard.
Place a live bid, set a max proxy bid and walk away, or hit Buy It Now before the BIN threshold disappears (usually at 75% of BIN price). You’ll see your standing instantly.
When you win, check out with credit card or Apple/Google Pay. A 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee applies. The seller ships, you confirm receipt, the money releases. Simple.
Three steps. List today, get paid next week.
Photos, description, starting bid, reserve (optional), Buy It Now (optional), auction length. Takes about five minutes per listing. Free sellers get 10 listings a month; PRO is unlimited.
Bidders watch, bid, and set max proxies. You’ll get notifications as the price climbs. Buyers can hit BIN early — unless a bid reaches your threshold first, at which point BIN disappears and the item sells to the highest bidder.
BMXAuctions deducts a 6% seller fee (3.5% for PRO members) and queues your payout. Ship the item, buyer confirms, funds land in your connected bank account via Stripe.

Buyers pay a 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee at checkout.
Same rate as eBay, PayPal, or any major marketplace. This goes to the payment processor, not to BMXAuctions.
Pre-1990 old school BMX — complete bikes, frames, forks, wheels, cranks, handlebars, parts, and accessories. If it was made before 1990 and ridden hard, it belongs here.
Create a free account, add a payment method, and click Place Bid on any auction. You can enter the exact amount you want to bid, or set a maximum proxy — we’ll bid up for you automatically until your max is reached.
Sellers can optionally set a Buy It Now price so buyers can skip the auction. To prevent BIN from undercutting active bidding, BIN automatically disappears once the current bid reaches 75% of the BIN price (seller-adjustable). After that, the item sells to the highest bidder.
Immediately after the auction ends, if you won. Checkout runs on Stripe — credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. A 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing fee is added at checkout.
Free sellers: 6% seller fee on completed sales, 10 listings per month, no per-listing fees. PRO sellers: 3.5% seller fee, unlimited listings, $9.99/month or $99/year. See the full breakdown on our Go PRO page.
Payouts run via Stripe once the buyer confirms receipt or seven days after delivery confirmation, whichever comes first. Funds land in your connected bank account within 2–3 business days.
Contact the seller first — most issues are miscommunication. If that doesn’t resolve it, open a dispute before confirming receipt and we’ll step in to mediate between you and the seller.
Bids are binding, but mistakes happen. If you placed a bid in error (wrong amount, wrong item), contact us within 60 minutes of the bid and before the auction ends. We review on a case-by-case basis.
