BMXAuctions is a curated auction marketplace dedicated to pre-1990 BMX — the bikes, frames, parts, and accessories that defined the sport before it went mainstream.
Why this exists
If you’ve ever tried to sell a vintage Haro on eBay, you know the problem. Your listing competes with kids’ bikes, electric scooters, and counterfeit parts. Buyers don’t know what they’re looking at. Sellers don’t know what they have. Real collectors get drowned in noise.
We built BMXAuctions because old school BMX deserves its own room.
What makes it different
Curated to a single era. Every listing is pre-1990 BMX. No mountain bikes. No road bikes. No 2003 Mongoose with worn-out grips. If it doesn’t belong here, it isn’t here.
Auction-first, not classifieds. Real bids, real urgency, real prices. Sellers see what their stuff is actually worth. Buyers see what other people are willing to pay.
Honest fees. 6% for free sellers, 3.5% for PRO members. No per-listing fees. No final value surprises. Buyers cover the standard payment processing fee at checkout — same rate as any major marketplace.
Built for the community. The BMXID Expert Network is a peer-driven program where shop owners, collectors, restorers, and historians provide community assessments on listings. Authenticity, era accuracy, condition — three experts, one consensus, posted right on the listing.
Who runs it
BMXAuctions is independently owned and operated. We’re not a venture-backed marketplace trying to flip to the highest bidder. We’re a small operation focused on one thing: making it easier to buy and sell the BMX bikes and parts you grew up wanting.
